The Wyndham Championship is the final regular-season event, determining the 70-player FedExCup Playoff field. That establishes the week’s context; it does not establish any player’s expected finish.[3]

What to watch

  1. How does the 36-hole cut shape the early week?

    The event contract sets a 36-hole cut for the low 70 players and ties.[2] That gives the first two competitive rounds a defined checkpoint to follow. It does not identify who will make the cut, and this Read does not attach an expectation to any player.

  2. Where do position and approach control show up?
